Year of challenges

This year such strange things are happening, like last year. There are still more covid contagions, there have been many earthquakes in Granada, it has been snowing a lot in Madrid and there were people in their house without being able to go out, etc.

One of my challenges this year is to have good marks, and I think that is for the most part of the students too. And another challenge is get my b1, but i don't know if it could be reality.


This year is the year that more challenges we should have because we are living in a pandemic situation, and when the days are passing more strange things are happening.

The journey to nowhere

  It's right that this generation has many advantages regarding learning because we have access to all the types of tools for learning. However, I don't think that someone who has more tools is more clever, but the one who has more attitude and positive mind, because many people who have all and don't take advantage of it, and however someone who doesn't have anything and wants to learn, he does whatever for learning new things. Before, some years ago most people didn't even know how to write. Women had to stay at home doing housework, so they didn´t know how to do anything, they had never learned to write, speak a new language, absolutely nothing. Aoua Kéita, the African icebreaker for women

One of the people that I love the most is my elder sister. Her name is Lucía and she is 23 years old. She is a really cool person, she is very kind and very sympathetic with all the people. Also, she is a really good sister, we get on with each other very well. And she always does whatever she can to make me happy, and helps me. I’m very grateful to have her as a sister. I admire her a lot, because she started a degree but she didn’t like it so she started working to earn money to be able to go to another city and study what she wants and make her dreams come true. Some years later, she is working in a hospital, she is also working as an administrator in a singing school, and from time to time she goes to restaurants to sing. I always remember when we were children she was singing all the time, and she always dreamed to be a singer. Now, when I see her singing in restaurants, weddings, etc, I feel very happy. She hopes that in the future, the same will happen with my dreams. All in all...

"Thank God I´m a country boy!"

I have lived in both places, in the countryside and in a city. I have lived all my childhood in a city and during the summer I used to come to Granada where my grandmother was living. When I was seven years old I went to live from a city to a small village. I didn't like the change because I was used to living in a big city. Living in a city has many advantages like there are people from all the places around the world, so you can meet a lot of people and learn about other cultures. Another thing is that there are many shops and malls so you could find a job earlier. There are many places where you can have a good time with your friends and relatives like, the cinema, bowling, escape room, museums, etc, and that's another advantage. I remember when I was a child, I didn't have time to get bored because I always had things to do.
