Believing and trusting in oneself I think is essential to be able to achieve anything you want to do.  When exams arrive I feel a little bit overwhelmed and I always try to do my best and  not get so anxious, although it is difficult, I hope one day I will stop feeling like that. I think that students shouldn’t be so overwhelmed with an exam, with time and with grades since it's only a number and life doesn’t end and you always have time to improve and do better next time. There are more people that don't believe in themselves and I think they should trust in them because when you have good thoughts, good things arrive. There will be occasions when you don't achieve your goals that you have proposed but that doesn't mean that you have to stop believing in yourself, that has to serve for doing better next time.  All in all, from my point of view, work, perseverance and self-confidence are essential for anyone. If you believe in yourself anything is possible.

Hi Lucía, How are you? It's been a long time since we don´t talk. I hope you are okay. I´m very well, this term I have been very busy studying and doing many things, but it was worth it because I have had really good marks. I'm writing to you because these days I have been thinking about what we could do during the summer holidays, and I have a lot of plans.  Firstly, I think we can go on a trip to the Maldives for 10 days. There we can do many things, we can go every morning to a different beach and rest with the incredible views, then, in the afternoon we can do something different every day, going for a walk, doing water sports like scuba diving, kayaking or paddle surfing. Secondly, I think we have to make use of the time to stay together and go camping in the mountains when we arrive from the Maldives because the last three weeks of my holidays I´m going to go to a house near the beach with my friends. The world and humans are in a constant evolution, for that, we don't know what will happen in the future. For example, some years ago people couldn't imagine that there would exist computers, wifi, social media, etc. And nowadays all these things are the most normal and that 's what we are used to. I think the same will happen in a few years. What will the future be like? I've never thought about that before. I think we are not able to know what the world will be like because technologies are changing very fast and the world would be completely different like right now, I guess. But I'm sure that the earth in the future will be worse than today.  The metaverse is a virtual-reality space in which users can interact with a computer-generated environment and other users. Firstly, for me and I think for almost all people the new year starts in Septembre with the new routine, highschool and all these things. Although I also like the new year day because I spend the whole day with my family and we always have a good time together and share memories. Secondly, it’s very common to make New Year's resolutions, but there are people who make resolutions but then they don't achieve them. I think we should propose things that we know we are able to achieve, because if you don't achieve them, it's very frustrating. I didn't use to make resolutions but I've been making them for a few years and I think it’s a good idea to know what your goals are and achieve your challenges. During last year many bad things have happened like the eruption of La Palma, we are still fighting against the covid… etc. However, I guess we should remember the good things like almost all the population get vaccinated in Spain, the freedom of Britney Spears... Finall...

  All people are different, we have different thoughts, we look different, etc. That is why each person takes more or less to achieve their goals although the goals are the same, because each person has a different rhythm and that doesn't mean that you are better or worse.  What is the point in living a pointless life and a life without goals to achieve? There are many people that are living a pointless life, which makes me sad. I think living a pointless life is no use and it only provides you bad things. And a life without goals to achieve seems very boring to me, because you are going to do the same everyday. If I had a pointless life, I would prefer to die. Today, in my opinion we can't make plans for a distant day because things change a lot day by day because COVID-19. However I don´t think for that we have to stop dreaming, because without dreams, life doesn't have sense, I guess. -  Since 21st December we have been in winter. I didn't use to like winter but now I love it because I really like winter clothes and the rainy days, staying at home doing nothing only watching films. - During winter we can do many things that in other seasons we can´t, like skiing, ice skating, going to the mountains to see the snow, etc.. Furthermore, in winter it is Christmas time and I really like it because I spend much time with my friends and my family and we are on holidays. -  What is winter solstice? Winter solstice marks the first day of winter in that part of the world and the year´s shortest day and longest night. - To sum up, I think winter is a season where you can do many things with your relatives and friends and have a good time with them. I love winter, so I'll enjoy it a lot.

 ´Making friends with people from other countries´ Nowadays making friends with people from other countries is very easy. By means of social media you can speak with anyone from anywhere around the world, at any moment during the day. On the one hand, making friends with people from other countries is a very good thing because it helps you to learn new languages which are very important nowadays, you´ll learn a lot about other cultures, etc. On the other hand, some disadvantages are that you cannot meet them face to face, go for a walk, and you will only be able to talk on the phone. If you meet this person on social media you only know the things that he or she wants to show you and you don´t get to know her or him at all. In conclusion, there are advantages and disadvantages to making friends with people from other countries but I think it provides you with many experiences, and you´ll have a really good time and in my opinion   it´s a good thing.
